Hi Justin,
Where should we look to find the cause of soaked rear floor carpets on an old
Honda? We can’t work out where it’s come from. There’s a sunroof but the water’s only on the rear carpets.

Sometime cylinder misfiring, burning oil, bad sensor could be the case. So act accordingly.

Hi Justin
There was a water problem in our car (wet carpet from a car roof issue) for about a month. The issue is fixed but should we pay $700 to get the carpet and padding detailed so we don’t get an issue with mold under the carpet?

This is also the reason you do not use kitty litter. When kitty litter gets wet it makes a paste and doesn’t allow the padding to dry out.

I would recommend you to visit a mechanic to read the car’s computer with an onboard diagnostics (OBD2) scanner.
